Wow! Professional, educational, punctual and saved us a small fortune. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed. ~Heather Hoffmeister

Andrew is great. He is very accommodating to my schedule. I appreciate the fact that he was not a pushy salesman. He did not push anything extra or try to upsell. Gave advice on things to be aware of that saved me money even though he could have made more money.

Doors are awesome and installation was quick. He is very particular and takes pride in his work. He saw a ding smaller than a quarter and said it is unacceptable. He wants to replace it regardless. I can't say enough good things about the man or the job. ~ Rob Michael

Andrew was very professional and prompt. He is quick to respond and shows up when he says he will. Also, the quality of work is excellent and we love our new door! Thanks, Andrew! ~Ryan Baker

State Line was great.  Andrew came out and replaced broken springs on my garage door. I sent out a request for a quote on Sunday and he immediately responded and said he could come out the next morning. He called ahead and arrived early, got the work done quickly and did a little tuning of our garage door opener at no extra charge. He was very easy to work with and I would highly recommend them. ~John H. Kansas City, MO

I got a great impression from Andy (Owner-Operator) at the local fair, and I knew I wanted to do business with him. Humorous, smart, and I connected with his mindset. He is a good communicator, and when I decreased my order, he was receptive and understanding. His service quality delivered on his first impression. I loved his marketing swag/merch, labeled, "Punch today in the face." Now my own small business benefits from his motivating phrase too. I will recommend Stateline Door and Lift to others. ~ Will F. Kansas City, MO

We found State Line Door & Lift while searching Yelp for a garage door company to do some maintenance on our garage doors, remotes, openers, etc. It's clear why this company has such good reviews. When I requested a quote, I received a fast response. We were able to make an appointment a couple days after the initial quote. Andy was able to come out early and was finished before our initial appointment time even began, which was great. And he was a very nice guy. We know who we'll call for all our door and garage needs. Highly rated. ~ Tashika B Kansas City, MO

My fiancé and I are extremely pleased with the work Andy and his team did on our recently purchased home. From the very beginning Andy was wonderful to work with. I inquired about services on a Sunday and not only did he respond within minutes, he offered to meet me at the house the very next day for an in-person consultation. During the consultation, Andy was very upfront about pricing and making sure we got exactly what we wanted at a fair price. His transparency is refreshing! Following the consultation, we immediately decided to move forward with Andy replacing our garage doors and openers and he was able to get us scheduled within the week. The day of the installation, Andy's team arrived on time and were extremely professional and hard working. I would recommend Andy for any job as we will assist with making the process easy and giving you peace of mind throughout. Thanks Andy!! ~ Taylor C Grandview, MO

Blue Springs Missouri History

Blue Springs' history is connected to the migration of settlers on their westward journey. Pioneers discovered the area to be an ideal stopover due to the abundance of cool, tidy water from a spring of the Little Blue River-- for this reason the name Blue Springs. The presence of water and a requirement for leader supplies led to the construction of a grist mill and long-term settlement at the present website of the City's Burrus Old Mill Park on Woods Chapel Road.

The Jackson County Court granted the incorporation of Blue Springs on September 7, 1880, making the City the fourth settlement in the county to be integrated. An early inhabitant, Franklin Smith, showed up in Blue Springs from Virginia in 1838 and became a leading figure in the community's advancement. He developed the first post office in 1845, calling it after the widely known springs.

The settlement continued to grow near the springs up until March 1878, when the Chicago and Alton Railroad revealed strategies to construct a station about one mile east of the initial settlement. To benefit from the commerce the railway would bring, the town moved its center to the site of the brand-new station and continued its advancement as a rural trading center. The Chicago & & Alton Hotel built in 1878, located on Main Street west of the railway tracks is the earliest business in the City of Blue Springs.

Historical tourist attractions near or in Blue Springs consist of: Missouri Town 1855, Fort Osage National Historic Landmark, Dillingham-Lewis House Museum, Chicago & & Alton Hotel Museum, and the Lone Jack Civil War Museum.

Up until 1965, heaven Springs City Hall was located in a very little block building under the old water tower on the northwest corner of 11th and Walnut Streets. From 1965 to 1968, the second City Hall was a metal building situated in the 200 block of 11th Street, throughout the street from the former Blue Springs Post Office. In 1968 the present City Hall was built at 903 W. Main Street as the Blue Springs Municipal Building. Heaven Springs Municipal Building held heaven Springs Police Department in the lower level and town hall functions on the main level till 1988, when the Police Department relocated to a brand-new police station at 1100 SW Smith Street. The Municipal Building was redesigned in 1989 and was renamed heaven Springs City Hall.
